  • 1. Accounting Technician

    • Location: Henderson, North Carolina (with the possibility of some remote work)
    • Job Type: Full-time
    • Overall Requirements:
      • Candidates must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and complete tasks on time with a high level of accuracy.
      • This position involves making sure timely payments are made and received and posted correctly to vendor and tenant ledgers, monitoring bank activity, reconciling various bank and G/L accounts, and performing general admin duties.
      • Initial responsibilities can be tailored around the individual’s current level of accounting experience, allowing for future growth in the position.
      • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations is required.
      • 2-year associate’s degree or higher is preferred.

  • 2. Leasing and Property Management Associate

    • Location: Henderson, North Carolina (with travel and the possibility of some remote work)
    • Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
    • Overall Goals:
      • Increase the occupancy of properties by leasing available space to qualified tenants and renewing leases with existing tenants.
      • Grow the value of Rosemyr’s investment by maintaining and improving the appearance and condition of the properties.
      • Identify opportunities to improve Rosemyr’s portfolio by recommending the purchase, sale, and/or re-development of properties.
      • Develop a thorough understanding of Rosemyr’s portfolio by maintaining and improving the company’s records, processes, and procedures for each property.
    • Responsibilities:
      • Leasing – Lease available space, prepare and facilitate lease documents, renew existing leases, and understand the market.
      • Property Management – Travel to assigned properties monthly, schedule routine and preventative maintenance, update records, advertise and promote the property, be on call for property emergencies, coordinate construction projects, and maintain tenant and vendor relationships.
      • General Management Assistance – Assist Rosemyr management and office staff with lease administration, research and analysis, preparation of documents, presentations at meetings, project management, and emergency response.
    • Requirements:
      • 2-year associate’s degree required. Batchelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
      • Leasing and/or property management experience is preferred.
      • An understanding of lease language and contract-writing experience is preferred.
      • Excellence in written and verbal communications is (in person, telephone, email, instant messaging, document writing).
      • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Windows, and Google Applications.
      • Comfort and willingness to travel (often individually via car, often several hours away, and sometimes overnight) to visit properties and to attend meetings and conferences.
      • Ability and interest in completing relevant courses and/or certifications (for example, those required for the CCIM designation).

  • 3. Lease Administration Associate

    • Location: Henderson, North Carolina (with the possibility of some remote work)
    • Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
    • Responsibilities: Answering multi-line telephone system, scanning and filing documents, maintaining lease files and various reports, reviewing and preparing documents and spreadsheets, creating basic marketing flyers for commercial properties, and other tasks related to leasing and management of commercial properties
    • Requirements:
      • Candidates must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and complete tasks accurately in a timely manner.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic computer operations is required.
      • 2-year associates degree or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
      • Leasing and property management experience preferred but not required.
